Bengaluru Traffic Inspector Mohammed Ali relay median stone .

‪#‎Respect‬

For years, a flyover near Bengaluru’s Ulsoor is lying without any proper development. It does not have any lights or proper divider for separating the two lanes of vehicles. A divider has been made just by putting together some rock boulders along the flyover. These boulders are not attached and are loosely kept in the middle. As a result, every day these rocks get scattered all over the flyover due to the heavy pressure of traffic. No one from the local municipality has taken the initiative to solve this issue. However, the local traffic police daily arrange these boulders accordingly by themselves to regulate proper flow of traffic. The person in the photo is Inspector Mohammed Ali from Ulsoor Gate Traffic Police Station. You can see him trying to put the rocks in order by his own hands.

This is not his duty, though, but he is doing what he can do to keep the city better. In spite of doing the mammoth task of regulating traffic, he has to lend hands in laborious tasks like these. We urge the BBMP to pay attention to issues like these so that these men do not have to involve in tasks which are responsibilities of the municipality.
